ABOVE: The above felt like the below:
HUFF POST: Trump is declaring war on the federal government, halting a slew of programs — with huge impact on Medicaid and other lifesaving entities. He's doing so many unpopular things (along with some popular, to Nazis), Trump will probably have to engineer a terrorist attack like his buddy Putin has done in the past.

APPLE TV: I can report that Leo Woodall's Prime Target on Apple TV is engrossing and well-acted. It's about a queer math genius who is somewhat less good at all things social, and has a hint of A Beautiful Mind to it.
YOUTUBE: Speaking of Leo Woodall, Season 3 of The White Lotus is coming.

BROADWAY CARES: If you'll be in NYC in June, check out Broadway Bares — it's back!
PINK NEWS: Scott Bessent is the highest-ranking out queer person in U.S. government history, fifth in the line to the presidency, is married with kids ... and said this to Yale Alumni of his billion-dollar, idyllic life:
In a certain geographic region at a certain economic level, being gay is not an issue. What’s fantastic is now, people in the rest of America, whether blue collar or white collar, have access to everything. If you had told me in 1984 when we graduated and people were dying of AIDS that 30 years later I’d be legally married and we would have two children via surrogacy, I wouldn’t have believed you.
And yet, he's working for Trump, who just froze HIV meds and all medical research, who is working hard to pick judges to nullify gay marriage and gay adoption. What can you say about people like Bessent and his husband John Freeman, who fuck each other up the butt in a pink mansion in Charleston, South Carolina, while supporting Trump?
P.S. Bessent was barely confirmed but already the target of an assassination attempt, along with Hegseth and Johnson.
BAY AREA REPORTER: All references to LGBTQ+ ANYTHING have been scrubbed from the White House site. But hey, Scott Bessent and his husband and their alliteratively named kids live in a big ol' pink mansion!
JOE.MY.GOD.: If you were wondering just how up Project 2025's ass Trump is after repeatedly lying in saying he wasn't, metadata's answer is: ALL THE WAY.
BLEECKER STREET: The Wedding Banquet, Andrew Ahn's remake of the classic, is highly anticipated — and it's in theaters April 18. I have it on good authority that it's outstanding.
CHICAGO SUN-TIMES: Trump's federal freezing has locked down a huge swath of Medicaid. Medicaid!
NYT: Amazing times we are in, when Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg has to come out publicly to denounce her first cousin, RFK Jr., as a predator and attention addict who MUST be denied confirmation as the U.S. Secretary of Health. EVEN MURDOCH KNOWS HE'S A WHACKJOB.
FACEBOOK: Philip Low, who knows Elon Musk well, writes beautifully of exactly who he is and isn't, pointing out that he isn't an ideological Nazi — yet why that isn't the point.
QUEERTY: The nominees for this year's Queerties are out! Vote now.
TWITTER: This is going from horrible to more horrible — no Republicans care anymore that Trump is gleefully, aggressively breaking the law:

Just absolutely false.
JOE.MY.GOD.: Though prevailing wisdom is that 2026 will likely be a Dem-leaning atmosphere, semi-safe Dem. Sen. Gary Peters, a two-termer, will NOT seek reelection. From what I gather, this is not considered catastrophic for Dems because he isn't a stellar candidate and the bench is deep (Whitmer would likely go for it if she isn't interested in running for the presidency against Vance — or Trump.)
CBS NEWS: Even migrants who were following the legal path to citizenship are being snatched and deported. (P.S. I see no indication that the man in the video below voted for Trump, other than guessing, and there is no evidence either way as to whether these people were lawbreakers, violent, etc.)
EXTRATV: Mexican-American Selena Gomez empathetically sobbed in a video over Trump's nasty deportation push, which is NOT prioritizing criminals — surprise, surprise — after all.
NYT: Trump is halting treatment for HIV worldwide, and yet Bill Gates claims he had a constructive talk with the guy. It's ALMOST like Trump is a soulless, lying monster who is banking on Americans' bloodlust?
LAW DORK: Consider subbing to Chris Geidner's Law Dork — he covers LGBTQ+ and other progressive issues from the court level EXTENSIVELY and with great, great knowledge. Here, he writes about Trump's denigration of service members for political gain.
LAMBDA LEGAL: Lambda Legal, the world's largest LGBTQ+ legal org, promises to sue to fuck out of Trump (AGAIN) over his new ban of trans people from serving in the military:
“We have been here before and seven years ago were able to successfully block the earlier administration’s effort to prevent patriotic, talented Americans from serving their country,” said Sasha Buchert, Lambda Legal Counsel and Nonbinary and Transgender Rights Project Director. “Not only is such a move cruel, it compromises the safety and security of our country and is particularly dangerous and wrong. As we promised then, so do we now: we will sue.
DONATE HERE TO HELP BLOCK RFK JR.
HRC: With Kash Patel and Tulsi Gabbard vying for the title, there is an argument that RFK Jr. is Trump's worst, most dangerous nominee. He is definitely anti-LGBTQ+, as these facts from the HRC confirm:
- In several interviews over the years, Kennedy has denied that AIDS is caused by HIV and claimed that “phony, crooked studies … killed people without really being able to understand what HIV was … not really understanding whether it was causing AIDS.” He has claimed “this is not a viral disease, but it’s a disease that is environmental,” flying in the face of decades of research that has repeatedly demonstrated how HIV progresses and led to groundbreaking treatments that dramatically reduced the scope of the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
- Kennedy repeatedly suggested a lie that chemicals in the environment are responsible for youth who are LGBTQ+, saying “these chemicals that we are just raining down on our children right now to induce these very profound sexual changes in them is something we need to be thinking about as a society.” To support these outlandish claims, he cited research done solely on frogs.
- During his failed campaign for the presidency, Kennedy came out in opposition to healthcare for transgender youth, saying care “should be deferred till adulthood.” He also repeated common lies about what that such care entails and failed to note that age-appropriate, best-practice care is supported by the vast majority of major medical associations.
