Country queen Carrie Underwood of “Jesus Take the Wheel” fame has been announced as the marquee performer at Trump's second inauguration.

Underwood, whose career began when she was the winner of American Idol, says we're supposed to come together in the spirit of unity:

I love our country and am honored to have been asked to sing at the inauguration and to be a small part of this historic event. I am humbled to answer the call at a time when we must all come together in the spirit of unity and looking to the future.

MAGA demands unity, yet its head honcho continues to spew invective EVERY TIME HE SPEAKS. So, that's a no from me.

Trump has raised a record haul to blow on his inauguration, close to $200M. Yet , why am I not surprised that the actual range of festivities appears to be quite limited?
