ABOVE: We've been over this terrain before with Madonna, but it feels more visceral after she nearly died and both her brother and stepmother did die.

EXTRATV: Michelle Trachtenberg, the 39-year-old former star of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Gossip Girl and Mysterious Skin, has died. Her death is not being treated as foul play. She had appeared gaunt in recent years, fighting with rude commenters over her appearance.
HUFF POST: Trump is too a'scared of Huff Post to let them cover him.
NBC NEWS: A kid in Texas died of the measles, the first U.S. death from the highly preventable disease in a decade. More than 100 people have contracted it in this outbreak, thanks to rising levels of unvaccinated people, but Trump says this happens all the time and RFK Jr. is unbothered.

VARIETY: Fabulous profile of the resilient Tatum O'Neal. She has really endured so much at the hands of two abusive parents, and retains an optimism that is admirable as she battles back from a drug-induced stroke in 2020. I got a little mad reading she fell off the wagon when Trump was re-elected because she was with her gays. These gays are trying to kill her! If you're around Tatum, don't sit there passively as she begins drinking, guys. Be the good gay.
VARIETY: I personally think Clayton Davis is full of shit. He is the type who writes early on that Gaga has a shot at an Oscar for Joker, etc. Now, in his — and therefore the esteemed Variety's — final Oscar predictions, he says he thinks Isabella Rossellini will win Best Supporting Actress over Zoe Saldaña has won every major precursor. I don't think he even believes this.
I like Isabella, but her performance is pretty minor compared to Monica Barbaro's or Zoe's. I don't see it.
