SOHO PROJECT SPACE: Reed Massengill is returning to NYC for a double exhibition and launches February 21 at SoHo Project Space. One of the shows is Fun with Dick & Selections, which features erotic photos that include an early-years Vin Diesel shot. The other is The Male Ideal, a revisitation of an important exhibition staged by Massengill decades ago in honor of the late, great Lon of New York.

STAGE COMBAT THE PODCAST: Coming February 11 is the end of Season 3 of Sean Hayden's Stage Combat the Podcast, which will focus on the troubling story of Broadway legend William Ivey Long's alleged sexual assault history. “The Court Watson Story” will delve into what happened when Watson, then 20, met and worked with the costumer on a production of The Lost Colony in North Carolina.

SXSW: She's the He is a new comedy hitting SXSW that's about two boys who pretend to be trans, and it goes down like this:

On the last week of high school, Ethan and Alex pretend to be trans women in order to stop rumors that they are gay and get Alex closer to his crush, Sasha. After putting on a dress, Ethan realizes she really is trans and comes out to Alex at the Girl’s slumber party. Later, Alex accidentally admits he was lying and the Girls turn against Ethan and Alex. When Ethan returns home her mom, Mary, struggles to accept her identity. The next day, the Boys, inspired by Alex & Ethan, pose as trans women to get into the girls' locker room. Alex, Ethan, and the Girls successfully fight them off. Ethan is still hurt. Alex convinces Mary to support Ethan at graduation, and restores their friendship.
