THR: I think Karla Sofía Gascón and I have very little in common, when it comes to worldview — I don't see how her atrocious remarks regarding George Floyd, etc., can be chalked up to misspeaking — and she deserved to be criticized. But it really has gone too far. I've seen so much unadulterated hate on EVERY post about her and her movie, and if we're being honest, at least half of the comments about her on any platform are viciously transphobic. The point was made. Now, KSG is talking about how she wanted to take her own life over the avalanche of scorn. Look, she's never getting hired again. Why is she still Topic A all over the Internet?
