Disgraced former Rep. George Santos has been sentenced to seven years in prison for fraud — specifically, felony wire fraud and aggravated identity theft. He will begin serving his time by July 25, and must also immediately pay $373,000 in restitution.

The pathological liar cried while his sentence was read.

The big ol' swindler said:

I betrayed the confidence entrusted to me by constituents, donors, colleagues and this court.

So remember this when he, years from now, claims he wasn't really guilty.
