I want to like Andrew Yang, but he bothers me. I think his approach to social media suggests a future as a mayor who continually puts his foot in it — which we have been suffering through here in NYC for years.
Today, on National Pet Day (not National Pets Day), he bizarrely decided to post about a family dog he gave away (because his son was allergic) — and then followed it up with a video showing him with the dog after he'd given it away, a video showing him completely ignoring the little guy.
Just a weird, weird instinct.
Meanwhile, my dog Hyphen wishes you a happy National Pet Day, and I am remembering my sweet Sash — his sis — six months after she died.

Andrew Yang: "I hereby am endorsing Joe Biden... The math says Joe is our prohibitive nominee. We need to bring the party together. We need to start working on defeating Donald Trump." https://t.co/9VjmXyfRI3 pic.twitter.com/BlMXmTlHV8

Andrew Yang, who supported Bernie in 2016, like Michigan, is now throwing his endorsement to Joe Biden. The Yang Gang is not happy.
