Ben Aldridge is a long way from Arsehole Guy! (Image via Focus)
I wasn't aware Spoiler Alert, the movie adaptation of Michael Ausiello's Spoiler Alert: The Hero Dies — A Memoir of Love, Loss, and Other Four-Letter Words, was already coming out!
The book is excellent, about a guy (founder of TVLine) who loses the love of his life to cancer, and the film looks promising — and exquisitely filmed. This is dropping in December, so Focus Features is fishing for Oscar consideration for Jim Parsons, Ben Aldridge, Sally Field and Bill Irwin, I would imagine.
Check out the trailer below:

Check out my interview with Queerty in support of Encyclopedia Madonnica! My new edition runs 674 pages, and includes great new interviews with Liz Rosenberg, Susan Seidelman and more. It's $75 from me (or $125 if you want a hardcover), or you can grab it for $90 at Amazon, B&N, etc.
The book is for fans, and also serves as a Warholian object of interest, its own little work of art for your coffee table. A whole book about Madonna? Great.
I'll be hyping the book here a bit, but will try not to work it into every other post.

Really? Toledo started tearing down the old Babcock dairy building but somehow stopped there? Everyone traveling 75 south got to see Toledo’s giant brick dick pic.twitter.com/S6DIa1y4Da

I'm proud to reveal the cover of my latest update of my book Encyclopedia Madonnica.
PAPERBACK STANDARD EDITION: It is on Amazon (I am #1 in new encyclopedias, and without those graphic illustrations of the nude body with little arrows pointing) and B&N — and other services soon, or I can sell paperbacks to the U.S., Europe and Australia (and probably other places — ask first) for $75US inclusive of shipping. For Canada, paperbacks from me are $90US.
HARDCOVERS: I'm selling hardcovers ONLY directly. The hardcover is just the same book with a premium hardcover, blue instead of pink cover text, and while not limited-edition, will wind up being less common because you only get them from me. Those are $125US anywhere in the world, including Canada.
Thank you to everyone who supports this project!

Tonight at midnight, I'll be releasing the cover of my updated Encyclopedia Madonnica on my social media and here. Excited.
In the meantime, Xtra Magazine in Canada talked with me about Madonna (and more) — check it out.
And I do love Cher. I think they wanted to highlight my comment to stoke fan wars.
P.S. The book will be on Amazon ($90) within days or weeks, or you can buy a paperback form me directly ($75) at paypal.me/boyculture or a hardcover ($125) if you like a stiff read.
