Not-so-sorry Charlie. (Images via Instagram @CharliePuth)
I'm not suggesting that Charlie Puth is gay, I'm merely suggesting that he should be because I think he'd be a natural. Had never heard of him before tonight's AMAs (sorry!), but his super forced kiss with Meghan Trainor led me to sleuthing. Didn't find out what I'd hoped to find out, but did find some nice photos.
For the record...Meghan Trainor and Charlie Puth are just friends! https://t.co/bkLBbnDX0T #AMAs pic.twitter.com/GU2fca8EW7

I liked Nick Jonas and Ariana Grande, who are truly talented as well as cute.
I find Bieber to be beyond insufferably up his own ass with that stupid water sports finale (all lip-synched past the opening acoustic bit), and though Céline Dion performed with great heart, she sounded distressingly flat. The message trumped the notes, of course, so it became one of the night's biggest deals.
I couldn't believe how distant Alanis Morissette and Demi Lovato were from one another, even while duetting on a song.
Gwen Stefani's song sounds thin and like a chart-grab to me.
I dunno, probably I'm over popular music by now. What did you like?
