ABC's Gio Benitez is treating his wedding to Tommy DiDario with all the low-key subtlety of a Real Housewife, spilling all the details to People magazine—and isn't it great we're at a place where gay people get to do that (if they want to), too?

Their story is actually v. romantic, including the quoting of a Broadway play and a surprise proposal in front of the Eiffel Tower.

Props to People for working into its story that Benitez “fell in love with hard news” in his native Miami.
