The VP debate was old-fashioned and mostly respectful-ish. It felt like Walz was conscientiously hoping to do no harm (his only weaknesses were initial nerves and a mealy-mouthed answer on getting the date of his trip to China wrong) and Vance was trying to show off how reasonable he could be, even going so far as to tamp down his absolutist anti-abortion stance.

But the three moments I personally think will resonate:

(1) Vance talked over the (female) moderators to bitch about being fact-checked:
