A new poll of LGBT voters finds Hillary the top pick, with 48%, Bernie at 41%, Trump at 2% (not a typo), following by Kasich and Rubio and then immeasurable disinterest.
UPDATE: Even though I reported the results of the poll accurately and even characterized the Clinton/Sanders spread as being very close (“Bernie Not Far Behind”), a Sanders supporter feels that because I am admittedly pro-Hillary, even though I've not disparaged Bernie and have said I would gladly vote for him if he were the nominee, I deliberately didn't report the fact that the poll also notes LGBT respondents think Bernie would be more supportive of LGBT rights, 31% for Sanders to 25% for Hillary—also close.
Bottom line, and—in my opinion—the most important finding of the poll: Gay voters want a Democrat in the White House 89% to 11%.
