A legend. (Image via headshot by Bruno of Hollywood)
Tony Bennett was a WWII veteran, pacifist, recording artist since 1949, hitmaker and the most incredible comeback kid. He died Friday at 96, seven years after being diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, and just under two years after his farewell performances at Radio City Music Hall with Lady Gaga.
Tony left us today but he was still singing the other day at his piano and his last song was, “Because of You,” his first #1 hit.
