This year's Dorian Awards were dominated by a film Oscar ignored — the brilliant All of Us Strangers captured Film of the Year, LGBTQ Film of the Year and LGBTQ Screenplay of the Year.

Other big winners — Greta Gerwig was honored for her directing of box-office behemoth Barbie, Lily Gladstone won Film Performance of the Year (beating out male, female and other non-binary actors) for her riveting work in Killers of the Flower Moon, and Charles Melton, shockingly snubbed by the Oscars, won Supporting Film Performance of the Year for May/December.

I am DEAD-UH after two outta three Madonna gigs at Barclays, but I dragged my ass to the Angelika Film Center in NYC to attend a Q&A with Andrew Scott about his instant-classic film All of Us Strangers.

The film, by Andrew Haigh, is like a poem, or a dream. It's lushly sensual (sometimes in the hot way, sometimes just literally about our senses) and exquisitely acted by Scott and Paul Mescal, with whom he has can't-look-away chemistry.
