That is mind-blowing—Michael Reagan, Ronald Reagan's conservative son, has raged on Twitter against a tweeter's insinuation that Reagan would have voted for Trump.

Not only does he state emphatically that his dad would never have gone along with Trump's campaign (specifically taking umbrage at Trump's sloppy insult that Hillary hasn't been loyal to Bill), he goes further to say that Nancy Reagan would have voted for Hillary!

I blogged earlier about how the Reagans did not laugh at an AIDS joke told on TV by Bob Hope. Now comes evidence from Snopes that Nancy Reagan never uttered the above quote, attributed to her for about the past 20 years.

She may have thought it, but she didn't say it in an interview in the Globe in 1981, or in any other known interview, and it certainly was not in her memoir.
