This kinda sums up how the cast and creatives feel about each other. (All images by Matthew Rettenmund)
It must've been the call of the wild, but I came out of hibernation for the BearCity 3 premiere in NYC tonight, held at the SVA Theatre as a gala to benefit PFLAG.
The poster's like “Where's Dildo?” — here, the handsome Matthew Montelongo & friend.
Cast member — and All Male, All Nude director — Gerald McCullouch was the one who invited me, and when Daddy tells you to do something, you do it.
Gregory Gunter, director Doug Langway & Stephen Guarino
The very funny film about love, lust, parenting and laughter, directed by Doug Langway, stars Kathy Najimy, Daniel Franzese, Stephen Guarino, Chris Salvatore, Joe Conti, Gregory Gunter, Matthew Montelongo, Brian Keane, J. Andrew Mullins, Bruce Howard Seeds, Jay Arseno, Richmond Chandler and many more, but for my money, the MVP is Guarino, one of the funniest people I've ever met.

Guarino & McCullouch, who should become professional auctioneers ... see below.
Also hysterical was the story the warm and fuzzy Gunter told me while praising my blog. He'd already greeted me on impact, and then confessed he'd been sending all these gay links from my blog to a friend on Facebook, only to discover way, way into the process that he was sending it to a straight dude in Canada with the same name. When I asked what the guy said about it eventually, Greg joked, “'Don't ever come to Canada. And I have a boner.'”
Cute couple! J. Andrew Mullins (R) reprises his role of Jimmy and also executive produced
I think I was caught checking out the white-jeansed booty of one of these attendees ...
Brian Keane & Guarino bask in the glow of completing a threequel.
Hair ya go!
Hot pieces abounded in all shapes and sizes.
A woman came.
A summary of BearCity 3, in case you need some catching up from the first
two (via the BearCity 3 team):
After a continuing losing streak that started at the altar, Roger tries to claw out of financial ruin and into the arms of Tyler. But Jay, Ty's hunky Fire Chief partner is not letting that flame blaze. Meanwhile, fireworks explode when Fred's obsessive tinkering on their bear documentary conflicts with Brent's baby prep and the unwavering due date of their new born. Mama Bear Michael faces major challenges and finds that love comes in all colors, shapes and sizes. Join us as we take one final adventure into the woods with the BearCity gang, where romance can sometimes be hairy but ultimately worth every hilarious, sometimes painful and all-consuming moment.
Great movie, great party and a great event to raise cash for PFLAG — which is $500 richer from an impromptu auctionioning of a gift bag prior to the screening, sweetened by a promise that McCullouch would date the winner. “He's hung!” Guarino shouted, driving the price higher.
Mom would be proud.
