AUGUST 15, 2026
Lots of great links for you today, including big dicks, big dish and more …
YOUTUBE: Please subscribe to my YouTube so you never miss my podcast episodes. The latest one is a convo with Jason Stuart, a veteran character actor and stand-up comic whose new short, Redlining, is winning award after award in film fests. If that isn’t up your alley, skip to the last 30 minutes to listen to him dish on working with Carroll Baker, Faye Dunaway, Robert Guillaume, Justin Bateman, Kirstie Alley, Michael Nesmith, Keanu Reeves and — believe it or not — more!

EURWEB: Now that Jason Arday has died at 41, it’s very interesting and important to examine what the hell happened and what was right and wrong about how he was scrutinized. He became Cambridge’s youngest Black professor, propelled by an unusual personal story (being autistic, not speaking until age 11), but he was taken down when he was exposed to have serially plagiarized — and made up parts of his story. Was he flawed? Certainly. But because there are so many forces salivating at the prospect of a Black person who did not deserve their position in academic, necessary and fair scrutiny arguably turned into demonization.
We don’t yet know how he died, but it seems obvious; he resigned in disgrace August 5 and is already dead.
Nathan Cofnas, the man who exposed a lot of Arday’s plagiarism, is a white man who resigned himself after he argued in writing that Black people are less intelligent than white people. In his belief, in a strict meritocracy, there would be just about zero Black professors at Cambridge. So, clearly, the story is fraught with issues when someone who believes that stuff becomes the one to take down a Black academic, who then ends up dead.
Cofnas said in an interview this month:
“After the revolution, I'll be the head of the dept of eugenics and race science at Harvard.”
This is what passes for a joke in his world.
LGBTQ NATION: Discover the queer love story that helped shape the Harlem Renaissance.
THE TIMES: I’m not sure if a gay editor will save Playboy, but his tailor and the photographer who shot him both deserve awards. Phillip Picardi is not only gay, but a progressive Catholic. Lots in the mix there. He says of the iconic, if mired-in-in-the-past brand he hopes to goose:
“I love conflict and I love tension, and I think Playboy is at a very tense moment in its own brand identity and in its own cultural moment. And that’s what makes it so appealing.”
I wish him so much luck. Sounds like a fun challenge.
WHYY: Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, has elected its first out lesbian mayor in Susan Stewart.
WASHINGTON POST: RIP Bishop Rainey Cheeks, a taekwondo master who tackled the AIDS crisis head-on and in the process became a revered LGBTQ+ activist.
ADVOCATE: I’m just going to say it: Sec. of Transportation Sean Duffy’s son-in-law, who just won his Republican primary and hopes to be one of the youngest people ever to win a House seat, looks very much like a — what is the word? — screaming queen. Just brows-ing!
KENNETH IN THE (212): LGBTQ+ and -adjacent mags of the moment.
HUFFINGTON POST: A retired major general is calling out Trump and Hegseth for “spewing lies” about the latest scandal involving U.S. forces. Snopes digs in on this crisis at sea.
THE RANDY REPORT: Out country artist Bryan Ruby’s got a new tune.
EXTRATV: Unsurprisingly, Perez Hilton had ODed (on … something) the day of his suicide attempt.
FLAUNT: Colman Domingo covers Flaunt in a chic shot by Ami. I love that Colman is one of our community’s most acclaimed and busiest actors:
“You know what? I guess I’ve been working now for 36 years, and I have to say that even when the lights were not on me, I’ve always had a robust work ethic with lots of things going on, always. Which is why, even when I’m not on a screen, I’m out there working on other aspects—developing, pitching series, pitching films with my husband who runs our production company, Edith Productions. We have a robust slate, which is run by my husband Raúl Domingo, and Colin MacKenzie, who’s my executive. The company is named after my mom because I want to be able to say my mother’s name every day; it’s on every email. So that keeps her memory and what she’s given to me alive. [Domingo’s mother Edith Bowles, passed in 2005.] That’s so important to me.”

THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER: RIP Mark Rydell. The esteemed director died August 13 at 97. He directed many great films, none greater than On Golden Pond. I’ve often heard the story of how Jane Fonda urged Rydell to let her dad Henry see an early cut of it just in case he died before it was released. While Fonda lived months after the release, he was bowled over by the early preview, telling Rydell he’d given him the greatest gift of his professional life.
Fonda also, of course, won the Oscar — his only win and only his second of two nominations. Rydell had a way with actors — others in his films to achieve nominations (and in some cases wins): Katharine Hepburn, Jane Fonda, Marsha Mason, Rupert Crosse, Frederic Forrest and Bette Midler (twice!).
It’s also worth noting that Rydell was a massive soap star 70 years ago — and that his on-screen love interest, Rosemary Prinz, is alive at 95. Their kisses were a fountain of youth.

MR. MAN: Get ready to eat the whoooole thing. (My references are antiques, not dated.) All text via Mr. Man:
“Which celebrities have the biggest penises? Mr. Man’s definitive ranking of the most well-endowed actors in movies and television has answers. They scoured every scene to bring us the ones with maximum length and girth. You can’t forget the girth. The list includes naked A-listers such as Ben Affleck, Michael Fassbender, Alexander Skarsgård, and Daniel Craig, along with rising stars who made an enormous impression early in their careers, including Cooper Koch and Barry Keoghan!
“And don’t forget those fearless indie actors who held nothing back in their breakthrough performances. Jesse LaVercombe’s pulsating cock, this means you. Below are some highlights from the list.

Ben Affleck
The rare man capable of out-penising Michael Fassbender is Ben Affleck. David Fincher’s 2014 thriller Gone Girl features a quick shower sequence that offers a remarkably revealing look at the Oscar winner’s enormous penis. Despite the movie’s massive success, many viewers still have no idea that Affleck went full-frontal in one of the biggest films of the decade. Our pants were gone, girl.
Matt Bomer
Matt Bomer’s impossibly handsome face has made him a favorite among online looksmaxxing devotees, but perhaps they have been focusing on the wrong asset. In Netflix’s 2020 remake of The Boys in the Band, Bomer confidently steps out of the shower in front of Jim Parsons with his impressive penis completely exposed. Bomer may already be known as a pioneering outgay actor, but his next breakthrough could be even bigger: penismaxxing.
Cooper Koch
Cooper Koch revealed on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen that his full-frontal prison shower scene in Netflix’s Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story did not involve a prosthetic. That confirmation probably did not shock anyone who had already watched Koch let his penis swing freely in the 2022 queer body-horror movie Swallowed. Across both projects, viewers have enjoyed multiple chances to see exactly what the out gay actor is working with.
Patrick Schwarzenegger
Patrick Schwarzenegger delivered one of the earliest surprises of The White Lotus season three when his character, Saxon Ratliff, got completely naked in the hotel room he shares with his brother. The spoiled frat bro masturbates to porn in their shared bathroom, putting Schwarzenegger’s penis on full display for both his on-screen brother and the audience. The siblings’ relationship becomes even more ... dynamic? ... as the season unfolds. We’ll save that for another day.
Barry Keoghan
Barry Keoghan ends Saltburn by dancing totally naked through the movie’s sprawling English estate while Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s “Murder on the Dancefloor” plays. Now that is how you finish a film! The uninhibited full-frontal sequence quickly became the signature image from Emerald Fennell’s homoerotic thriller. Keoghan skips and struts through the rooms without wearing a single piece of clothing as Oliver celebrates becoming the new owner of Saltburn. The best part? Barry proudly upholds Ireland’s reputation for producing seriously hung men.
Alexander Skarsgård
The Swedish sexpot Alexander Skarsgård spent seven seasons transforming vampire Eric Northman into one of the sexiest supernatural characters on television. His most revealing True Blood scene comes when Eric suddenly catches fire while relaxing completely naked in the snow. The full-frontal shot does not last long, but it provides more than enough evidence to earn Skarsgård a spot among Hollywood’s most well-endowed celebrities.
Gaspard Ulliel
The late French actor Gaspard Ulliel is drop-dead gorgeous fully clothed, making his sculpted body and world-class package feel almost excessively generous. Ulliel delivered an unforgettable full-frontal strut while portraying designer Yves Saint Laurent in Saint Laurent. He went even further in To the Ends of the World, appearing nude during an outdoor shower and performing an explicit sex scene in which he’s fully bricked. Gasp! Ard.

What a BIG and compelling edition. I loved this post!
