HUFFINGTON POST: Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem (a phrase that will never lose its ability to shock) went on CNN’s State of the Union to assert that Renee Good — the woman blown away by ICE — had (sic) “ran into” the agent, Jonathan Ross, before he shot her. Lying through her veneers, she stated:
“She weaponized her vehicle to conduct an act of violence against a law enforcement officer and the public.”
Video confirms that Good was turning away from Ross, and had just said she wasn’t mad at him. The devout Christian — who, even as an ICE officer, is married to a Filipina immigrant — responded by blowing her brains out and calling her a “fucking bitch.”
THE ADVOCATE: Is it just a coincidence that another Minneapolis person who’s come forward about ICE shoving a gun in his face is also, like the late Renee Good, queer?
DEADLINE: Buck on 9-1-1, played by hot Oliver Stark, went bi in a threesome scene, and the only awkward part was that the couple was played by a real-life husband and wife:
“It made it a little awkward, I can’t lie. And it didn’t feel awkward until we were shooting the intimate scenes, and I was like, ‘Oh, that’s your real-life husband right there,’ or, ‘Oh, that’s your real life wife right there.’ But they were so great and coaching each other, like, ‘Do this a little bit more, arch a little bit more.’ And I was like, ‘Wow, I wish I had that, somebody to like coach me through this.’”

BRITISH GQ: In a new video, Paul Mescal muses about having the body of a 30-year-old (he’s 29) and the healthy mind of a 90-year-old, how he believes he will die, for what he is most grateful and more:
Full feature on the Hamnet star.
NEW YORK TIMES: Unsurprisingly, Trump’s hand-picked and often unqualified appellate judges have voted his way 133 to 12.
JOE.MY.GOD.: Dizzy dyke Tammy Bruce is out here bald-face lying, claiming Denmark is somehow already “separating in a way, moving away” from Greenland, after Trump hilariously stated that the country had no claim to Greenland just because they landed a ship there 500 years ago. (Hello, United States?)
DORCHESTER REPORTER: The unknown story of gay Black Bostonian Reed Edwin Peggram, who documented what it was like to live in Italy under fascism.

THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER: Coming soon is Utterly Shameless, a doc about the late, great Edmund White directed by Brian Montopoli and ex Out Magazine EIC Aaron Hicklin:
“Through archival footage, interviews and his own reflective narration, the film traces a life spent insisting that gay experience belonged not in code but in full daylight. Montopoli brings a reporter’s rigor to the material while Hicklin adds the intimacy of a longtime chronicler of queer culture. Their collaboration also situates White’s legacy in the present, linking his early battles for visibility to today’s pop-culture boom.
“The runaway popularity of titles like Heated Rivalry and Pillion, which have turned same-sex romance into a crossover phenomenon among straight women as well as queer readers, becomes proof of a cultural landscape White helped clear.”

PEOPLE: Hudson’s co-star Connor Storrie is speaking out about his gone-viral videos from when he was 12, in which he comes off as — to me — an adorable, budding baby gay with some serious attitude. Connor notes he could have had them pulled, but decided it was “the end of a sort of self-acceptance ritual,” which is so cool, no?
INSTAGRAM: I do love all the Heated Rivalry boys, but I still feel like International Male has a hand in their off-show styling.

TELEGRAPH: A close associate of Jeffrey Epstein, former U.S. Ambassador Lord Mandelson, has a novel explanation for why he was clueless about Epstein’s proclivities — he says he is gay, so Epstein kept underage girls away from him.
INSTAGRAM: Liz Kamlet, Stephen Bishop’s business manager, is in the midst of a fascinating series of videos in which she reveals how much $ his songs make and other rarely discussed topics. In this one, she shows how futile it is to compare the millions of albums artists used to see vs. the number of streams that are measured today.
In this one, she lists Bishop’s top money-making songs of all time.
Bottom line: Something’s telling me he might be rich.

PLAYBILL: The Fantasticks is aiming for a Broadway bow … as a queer love story:
“In this re-envisioned Fantasticks, the central romantic pair—traditionally Matt and Luisa — are now Matt and Lewis, reinterpreting the story’s allegory of love, longing, and reconciliation through a gay lens. The show’s original pair of fathers, who secretly orchestrate the clandestine love affair between their children, are now mothers.”
