Boy Culture Links — All-Sex Edition: Mark-Paul Gosselaar Bares His Bulge, Ramin Karimloo Sings a Different Tune, Olivia Wilde Wants Cooper Hoffman's Sex, Greg Scarnici Is Daddy + MORE
JUNE 10, 2026
TIKTOK: What in the Zack Morris?! Mark-Paul Gosselaar not only still has it, he has more and better of it.
He was appearing like this to plug the new Bell media comedy Bulges, presented at the Bell Media Upfronts.
To be fair, Mark-Paul Gosselaar has never NOT looked great.

BIG MAN THE MUSICAL: Gorgeous Ramin Karimloo is the star of the new musical Big Man, and the first single is “Wanted to Believe.” All proceeds from DLs go to the Alzheimer’s Association, and it streams as of June 19, just in time for Father’s Day.
The show:
“Big Man pulls audiences into the inner world of a man living with Alzheimer’s, where reality gives way to a dazzling 1960s Vegas fantasy. Blending the swagger of big band spectacle with raw, contemporary storytelling, the piece pushes musical theater into bold new territory: joyfully theatrical, musically eclectic, and emotionally unflinching.”
MATADOR MEGGINGS: Speaking of Father’s Day, Matador Meggings has a sale on their form-fitting products for dads, zads and their admirers:
Get ready for this one …
YOUTUBE: The new Gregg Araki movie represents a major leveling-up for the long-adored indie darling, starring Olivia Wilde as a dominatrix boss and Cooper Hoffman as her haplessly pussy-whipped employee.
It’s out in theaters July 31.
BANG MY BOX: A full review of the terrific documentary Bang My Box — all about NYC legend Robin Byrd — is coming later today. Until then, feast your eyes on her friend and the film’s exec producer Greg Scarnici.
I first knew of Greg thanks to his Sex book parody:
He’s gone on to become a senior associate producer at SNL. And, of course, he is Levonia Jenkins.
MR. MAN: Mr. Man has compiled an NSFW illustrated list of all the streamers based on which show the hottest gay scenes.
Via Mr. Man:
“Which streaming service has the most gay scenes? It’s a question that deserves a balls-deep exploration, so the folks at Mr. Man crunched the numbers. After analyzing thousands of hours of programming across Netflix, HBO Max, Paramount+ with Showtime, Hulu, Starz, Prime Video, Peacock, Disney+, and Apple TV+, they assembled the definitive ranking of platforms with the highest gay scene counts. Welcome to the age of the creaming service!”
“Here’s the full ranking:
1) Netflix — 1,052 Gay Scenes
2) HBO Max — 409 Gay Scenes
3) Paramount+ with Showtime - 327 Gay Scenes
4) Hulu — 199 Gay Scenes
5) Starz — 95 Gay Scenes
6) Prime Video — 91 Gay Scenes
7) Peacock — 59 Gay Scenes
8) Disney+ — 32 Gay Scenes
9) Apple TV+ — 20 Gay Scenes
The results reveal just how dramatically the streaming era has changed LGBTQ+ representation on television, and which platforms have backed their inclusivity with actual screen time. Some services are clearly investing in queer storytelling, while others are still playing catch-up. The rankings may confirm a few expectations, but there are also some surprises waiting in the lineup.
Netflix sits comfortably at the top of the list, with a total that more than doubles the platform in second place. Much of that dominance comes from its global programming strategy, particularly its investment in Spanish-language series. Titles such as Elite, The House of Flowers, and Who Killed Sara? alone account for an enormous share of the platform’s total, while originals like Sex Education, Heartstopper, and Special helped establish Netflix as the undisputed heavyweight of queer streaming television.
But the ranking gets more interesting the deeper you go. But then again, most things get more interesting the deeper you go. HBO Max continues to be the home of prestige television, with landmark series such as Oz and Looking sitting alongside newer breakout hits like Heated Rivalry, proving the service has been serving queer audiences for decades.
Hulu’s position gets a major boost once FX programming is included, unlocking a seemingly never-ending supply of LGBTQ+ content. Thank you, Ryan Murphy! His credits include Pose, American Horror Story, and several other key contributors to the platform’s tally.
Paramount+ benefits enormously from the addition of Showtime’s library, with heavy hitters like Shameless and Fellow Travelers driving its numbers upward. Meanwhile, Starz quietly punches above its weight thanks to series such as Now Apocalypse, P-Valley, and Power Book II: Ghost. Prime Video, despite its massive subscriber base and global reach, finds itself further down the rankings, which isn’t surprising when you factor in Prime’s historically conservative offering. They’ll sell you an XXL dildo, but not a gay scene. SMDH.”
KENNETH IN THE (212): Kenneth is in hot pursuit of Blake Dawson.
YOUTUBE: Soft Cell is on tour — Marc Almond is carrying on after the death of Dave Ball — and releasing “Danceteria,” a hot new single from their September 2026 album of the same name.
It is (like Madonna’s current track of the same title) a loving remembrance of the iconic NYC club, complete with name-checks — including the great John Sex.
Marc says of the album:
“Danceteria is a love letter to New York in the early '80s. The time we spent in New York - where we recorded our first three albums — shaped us both as artists and people. To celebrate this period is a fitting farewell to Dave Ball and the final Soft Cell studio album.”
