Boy Culture Links: Cheyenne Jackson's Got Sole, Taylor Zakhar Perez for 'Vman,' Liza Minnelli Chats with Robin Roberts, How a Doc Solved a Cold-Case Gay Murder + MORE
MARCH 11, 2026
VERY DELTA PODCAST: I love seeing Delta Werk calmly pretending like getting Cheyene Jackson to unveil his perfect soles on her podcast isn’t YouTube gold.
QUEERTY: Woo-hoo! The Queerties have been handed out in L.A. at a ceremony that attracted Paul W. Downs, Raven-Symoné & Miranda Maday, David Archuleta, Joel Kim Booster, Bryce Xavier and others.

Some winners: Jonathan Bailey was chosen Badass (highest honor), Lady Gaga’s “Abracadabra” won Anthem, Cynthia Erivo won for Film Performance and Read (for her memoir) and Heated Rivalry took TV Drama.
SOCIALITE LIFE: Taylor Zakhar Perez for Vman.
TÊTU: And while we’re at it, let’s get a leg up on the new issue of Têtu.
DEADLINE: Coming up this year is George Michael: The Faith Tour, a remastered and restored feature based on a long-lost film. It will get an international release in theaters and will be accompanied by an 18-track album of never-heard performances by Michael, who died 10 years ago this coming Christmas.
Imagine being a fan in the crowd captured all those years ago and seeing yourself in the restored movie now:
THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER: Seth Abramovitch interviews filmmaker Rachel Mason about her follow-up to the incredibly charming Circus of Books doc — an incredibly disturbing (so those who have seen it say) doc that literally solved a decades-old cold case, the murder of porn actor Bill Newton (stage name Billy London).
My Brother’s Killer made use of existing evidence and the porn archive of Mickey Skee to help unravel this stubborn mystery, with Newton often referred to as “the gay Black Dahlia.”
NBC NEWS: Marjorie Taylor-Greene’s Georgia seat is supposed to be ruby-red, but Democrat Shawn Harris came in first with 37% of the vote in Tuesday’s special election, forcing leading Republican Clay Fuller into a runoff.
NEW HAMPSHIRE UNION LEADER: Dems also scored an upset in a New Hampshire contest, with Democrat Bobbi Boudman defeating a Republican for a statehouse seat in a district Trump just won in 2024 by … 9.2%. It was a narrow win, but one that represented a 13% over-performance for Dems — from a large 39% turnout.
GOOD MORNING AMERICA: Liza Minnelli (yes, yes, and Michael Feinstein) talks with Robin Roberts about Kids, Wait Till You Hear This!:
YOUTUBE: In case you missed my video about the new Liza book (I added it to yesterday’s batch of links kinda late), check it out here.
THE SUN: Madonna is not playing when it comes to comebacks — her new video, said to be for a dance tune that samples a ‘90s classic — is rumored to be her biggest-ever, most cinematic production. It also includes cameos from Benedict Cumberbatch, Gwendoline Christie and Kate Moss. (BTW, the photos from the set we have seen do not show her in costume — that’s her stunt double.)
PEOPLE: After bitching about a GoFundMe set up for him, Mickey Rourke defaulted on his eviction case. He’s already moved out.
THE NEW YORK TIMES: The paper of record is finally catching up on the news that Monti Rock III died, calling him “gleefully untalented” and “a D-list star clinging to celebrity.” But in a good way.
TMZ: Pete Hegseth of the Department of War has declared war on Iran — and on austerity. He is reported to have blown “billions” on steak, lobster, crab, fruit baskets and furniture. Has any Administration ever pissed away a win as quickly as Trump’s?
TWITTER: I must say I wonder why people want to normalize anything like monogamy or polyamory in the LGBTQ+ community … like, just be.
WMNF: Oh, my goddess … I long to be invited to play Big Gay Bingo.

YOU can't get an invite to gay bingo? C'mon?
