Boy Culture Links: FDR's Anti-Gay Scandal, Dad Sues Gay Son for Bailing on Conversion Therapy, Heart-Tugging Episode of 'The Comeback' + MORE
APRIL 10, 2026

THE 19TH: A deep dive into the 1919 incident when future President FDR authorized a deplorable secret sting targeting — um — “cocksuckers and rectum receivers.” And yes, the punishments were more severe for bottoms. Still a great president, but this certainly dims my appreciation for him as a great man.
KENNETH IN THE (212): Mags of the moment.
JUSTICE CENTRAL TV: On an episode of Equal Justice with Judge Eboni K. Williams, a dad sued his gay son for bailing on conversion therapy:
CNN: Four women have come forward to describe sexual misconduct by California Democratic gubernatorial frontrunner Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-California). The candidate has forcefully denied the allegations, which include sexually pursuing an employee, who says he took sexual advantage of her twice when she was too intoxicated to consent.
Predictably, there are many calls for Rep. Swalwell to leave the race — and even some calls to resign from Congress.
LAMBDA LEGAL: Puerto Rico is denying birth certificates to nonbinary people, so Lambda Legal is stepping up and urging the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit to affirm a lower court ruling compelling P.R. to act in accordance with the Constitution.
Lead plaintiff Ínaru Nadia de la Fuente Díaz said via statement:
“This case is about us as nonbinary Puerto Ricans being able to have identity documents that are congruent with our identities. Puerto Rico does not allow us to have identification birth certificates that are congruent with our nonbinary identities and forces us to choose between masculine and feminine gender markers that inaccurately reflect who we are. We deserve the same dignity and respect that is afforded to all other people.”
POLITICO: Kamala Harris ((who probably should be the frontrunner in the California gubernatorial race!)) is now saying she may run for POTUS once again, in 2028.
VULTURE: The newest episode of Season 3 of The Comeback was by far the best of the bunch, gracefully acknowledging the absence of Mickey — and of Robert Michael Morris, the actor who played him. Evan Ross Katz also chimes in.
ACC ART BOOKS: A Night at the Disco by Alice Harris and Christian John Wikane is a loving profile of the Disco Era (1970-1979) that will turn your beat around.
SPIN CYCLE: International House of Drag Kings stars Murray Hill, and that’s all you need to know in order to buy tickets.
NEW YORK TIMES: Liberal judge cruises to Wisconsin Supreme Court victory in 20-point drubbing.
DAILY BEAST: Jeffrey Epstein bragged that he bedded Melania before Trump.
INSTAGRAM: Footage of Trump with Melania in 1999, when she had less of an accent and he was claiming she as from Austria:
YOUTUBE: First Lady Melania Trump distanced herself from both her husband and Jeffrey Epstein in an unprecedented and unannounced White House address that wound up making her sound more connected to Epstein than ever:
