INSTAGRAM: Noah is quickly becoming everyone’s favorite guyliner-wearing gas station attendant.

THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER: A podcast is about to explore the urban myth that Richard Gere used to stuff gerbils in his ass to get off. I remember hearing this so many times, occasionally from someone who would toss in that their mom or aunt was in the ER when he came in (total lies, and a very human response in trying to tell stories and bolster them when you totally believe them). I always felt it was clearly just a creative way to say he was gay (he’s not), just like the rumor about Rod Stewart having semen pumped out of his stomach. I would guess the same people who buy whose things are now endlessly tickled by AI images.
NEW YORK TIMES: Democratic House candidate Chris Gallant is responding appropriately to leaked images showing him in hardcore bondage poses from 15 years ago, candidly admitting they’re real photos — and shouldn’t matter. In a statement, his PR sez the photos:
“ … were taken during a private, consensual photo session involving Chris and his then-partner, with whom he was in a committed four-year relationship. Chris was also friends with the owner of Mr. S Leather, and the shoot was intended to be fun and personal, with the understanding that Mr. S could use select images in connection with certain products.”
Long Island is a hot mess — Gallant won his primary over a candidate who liked anti-Semitic memes. So, if the question is (as was posed by his GOP rival), “Is this who you want to represent us in Washington DC?” then the answer may well be yes, because we don’t want an anti-Semite and nobody with a brain still votes Republican.
So, the rimming leatherman military veteran it is! (And you can donate to Chris’s campaign here.)
After all, the concept of not voting for someone because of their sexy-photo past already seems quaint.
JOE.MY.GOD.: Missouri Secretary of State Denny Hoskins stands accused of changing local election results, deceiving a federal judge and illegally using state funds in a St. Louis County election … and he is, of course, a Republican.
PEOPLE: Trump is ever-so-pissed at SCOTUS for blocking his mail-in ballot restrictions. Yet even though there are no supportable legal grounds for them TWO of the justices still sided with him. (You can guess which two, right?)
HUFFINGTON POST: Trump isn’t thrilled with Karl Rove, either — Rove, once considered one of the most vile human beings on planet Earth (and now just a garden-variety pig) will vote for a Democrat for the first time in 30 years. And he’s doing it because the Republican candidate is “a bigot.” (Who knew that was a line in the sand for Karl?)
GAY TIMES: This piece asks why gay men are so terrified of public urinals … but are we?!
INSTAGRAM: Ed Sheeran’s response to the Macklemore controversy feels like it’s attempting to cover all bases and sit on all fences. We’re supposed to glean from this he is a Free Palestine supporter who chooses to telegraph rather than “shout” this, and that his only choice was to cancel out his tour entirely or allow the promoters and venues to have their way and continue on with Macklemore. He chose the latter and seems hopeful that most of his fans don’t really care either way. He could be right.
