Boy Culture Links: How Paul Anthony Kelly Became JFK Jr., Cardi B's for Jasmine C, Hillary Torches Trump in Epstein Testimony, What Liza Looks for in a Man + MORE
FEBRUARY 26, 2026

GQ: “How Paul Anthony Kelly Became JFK Jr.” You could not pay me to watch it, but he’s hot.
ACT BLUE: Cardi B is endorsing Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) in the Texas Democratic Senate primary. Crockett continues to lead fellow rising-star Dem James Talarico, a state rep, by double digits in the latest poll, even as national Democrats fret that he would do better in the general.

INSTAGRAM: This young man’s parents are hoping to find him a mate!
HUFFINGTON POST: Hillary Clinton drags the GOP in her opening statement while testifying before the House on all things Epstein.
YOUTUBE: Democratic Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger vivisected Trump and his bloated SOTU, which was filled with lies — and leaned on the U.S. men’s hockey team.
WASHINGTON POST: This story is from last year, but I had missed it. It details how a German teen convinced a U.S. trans teen to take his own life — and film it — and how investigators had to work for years to get the German government to take it seriously enough to arrest the perp. It turns out he was a wholly depraved individual, with terabytes of images showing children being murdered and tortured, and who planned to use his study of medicine to help him destroy more “lost, cute children.”
PEOPLE: In her People cover story about her many loves and affairs, Liza Minnelli is quoted as saying:
“Ideally, I’d like to date an older elegant man who dresses beautifully and is filthy rich. Then I’d like to date a 40-year-old guy who is passionate about something. I don’t care what. Then I’d like to date an 18-year-old, who I see twice a week and whose name I don’t know.”
Photographer Greg Gorman shared a selfie with Liza at their cover session.
INDIEWIRE: The Christophers sounds like possible Oscar nomination for Sir Ian McKellen — he’s paired with the amazing Michaela Coel in a story of an art forger hired by a reclusive art god’s family to finished his early-career paintings that will be worth a fortune upon his death once they’re “rediscovered.”
This is so up my alley.
NEWFEST: NewFest is announcing its Queering the Canon lineup for 2026, including an opening-night screening of Donna Deitch’s amazing ‘80s lesbian love story Desert Hearts.
KENNETH IN THE (212): LGBTQ+ mags of the moment.
ABC6 ACTION NEWS: Philadelphia Gay News turns 50.

GR8ERDAYS: RIP Sondra Lee, 97. She was an undisputed Broadway legend who worked across nine decades, originating the role of Tiger Lily in the first Broadway production of Peter Pan in 1954.
NEON: RIP Monti Rock III, 86. He was a frequent Tonight Show guest and DJ whose 1975 Disco-Tex & His Sex-O-Lettes Review album spawned the hit singles “Get Dancin’” and “I Wanna Dance Wit’ Choo (Doo Dat Dance).” The out performer appeared as the DJ in Saturday Night Fever (1977). He died of COPD February 23.
GR8ERDAYS: Lauren Chapin, who played Kitten on Father Knows Best in the ‘50s, died February 24 at 80 after a cancer battle. I didn’t connect with her Evangelism, but her revelations about her tough childhood and young adulthood (molested by her dad and a family friend, later substance-abuse issues) still pack a punch decades after she talked about them.
HUFFINGTON POST: Bill Gates spoke to his foundation staff, opening up about his ties to Jeffrey Epstein. He said they were friendly for less than two years, it was a mistake, he never saw anything “illicit” or did anything “illicit,” and he admitted to two extramarital affairs with Russian (adult) women.
