EXTRATV: Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina), a total bastard on the national political scene for just over 30 years, died abruptly Saturday night at his home at 71. Now, his office is confirming the initial cause of death: aortic dissection.
He’d just returned from Ukraine, so I’d wondered about DVT.
This devastating medical event usually kills. Famous people who have died of it: Lucille Ball, Alan Thicke and John Ritter. Interestingly, surgeon Michael DeBakey, who pioneered a surgery to help save people affected by it, later developed an aortic dissection and was saved by that surgery.
Luckily, Lindsey died. Good riddance to a deeply terrible person, who backstabbed longtime buddies (McCain, Biden), was a blood-thirsty war hawk and was probably a shameless closet case to boot.
INSTAGRAM: Trans woman Jesse James Rose claims she was paid by Graham to “do unspeakable things to him in a hotel room while he wore red lingerie.” Before you get angry that she didn’t out him while he was alive, she makes a strong argument as to why sex workers shouldn’t have to bear that responsibility. Do we believe her? Many others have lied. The whole “ladybugs” story was fake. But this might be real — I’d love to hear her interviewed at length about this.
NEW YORK: Meanwhile, Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky) is coming forth claiming to be clinging to life. He’s certainly clinging to today’s paper.
REDDIT: Kathy Griffin jokingly implied she was dating a 22-year-old, and all these Gen Z (and other) prudes flipped out. People really do think full-grown adults are not capable of making sexual or otherwise romantic decisions. Everything is viewed through a lens of “grooming” and “power differentials” now. Insane. Some of the comments I saw included a woman stating a 25-year-old is still, on some level, a child.

EW.COM: I despise Dana Carvey and hate David Spade even more, but I’m always up for new One of the Boys content. Nathan Lane just told Spade a story of working on that infamously bad sitcom, recalling that Mickey Rooney — considered one of Hollywood’s all-time meanest SOBs — thought “Danna Garney” was gay.
