NBC NEWS: Heated Rivalry dynamic duo Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams are confirmed as Olympic torch bearers as part of next month’s games in Italy.
QUEERTY: Peter Claffey has ‘em hot and bothered in HBO’s A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.
FACEBOOK: Something is … not so terrific … in Liza Minnelli’s life. Her official Facebook page posted a ridiculous fake message claiming to be from her in which she raves about a new AI-music project (BOO!) and asserts an ancient and AI-ified photo of herself is current. If the record she’s promoting actually exists, it’s tacky and verging on elder abuse.
PRIDE.COM: I hate all these plastic surgeons who take to social media to shame celebrities under the guise of being helpful and explaining the work they do. The worst of the worst might be Dr. Zayn, who calls himself an aesthetics doctor and looks like a ridiculously stretched, feminized, lip-tortured mannequin. He’s getting strong pushback for grotesquely picking apart Troye Sivan’s looks and claiming he is suffering “twink death.”
Zayn is also an uneducated idea, saying Sivan is “a bit more older-looking.” Learn to speak before smugly offering unsolicited advice.
Meanwhile, Sivan is responding directly with a new Substack post in which he cops to having so many self-doubts about his looks (he’s now 30) and laundry-lists all the things he has considered having done, all the while blasting Zayn as a “random sicko fucko.”
Sadly, Sivan accepted the doctor’s forced (by social media pressure) apology, and now states:
“EDIT: The doctor in the aforementioned video removed it, and sent me a really thoughtful and sweet message apologising. The title of this post was ‘fuck this guy!!’ and is now ‘feeling a bit uggo (ugly)’. No hard feelings from my side whatsoever. Thanks for all the love guys <3”
I really wish he’d just let the asshole twist in the wind.
