BUT . . . while I really really really hope Karl Rove is right (words I never thought would come out of my mouth), I don't think he is. Remember he was wrong in 2012 about Obama and brilliantly flamed out in front of Megan Kelley and the Fox world? Well, Democrats need to hold all of their solid and likely seats, sweep the 13 seats that lean toward their party and win at least seven of the 18 tossups, so 7 in the Senate and at least 5 in the House. That is one big hill to climb!
I think for all his faults, Gavin grasps the main takeaway from Trump, which is he's a bear so you have to just scream at him and he goes away. I'm going to go out on a limb, thought, and say the House is 100% and that there is a good chance the Senate will go blue in a blue tsunami. If only the election were tomorrow. Who knows what Trump will do to try to swing things by November?!
