THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER: Lena Dunham reportedly seeded Taylor and Travis’s wedding proceedings with a gay joke about football.
NEW YORK TIMES: The famous Victoria Cruz, an iconic figure in NYC’s trans community, died June 25 at 79. Her work at the New York City Anti-Violence Project was captured in The Death and Life of Marsha P. Johnson (2017), as was her theory that Marsha P. Johnson was murdered by the mob.
NYC politico Christine Quinn, who was a former supervisor, said of her:
“She was perhaps the strongest person I have ever met. She was part of the birth of the modern L.G.B.T. rights movement in New York, and therefore across the country. She was someone who had survived a terrible sexual assault and transformed that horrible moment into beacon-like strength that you felt whenever you were around her.”

JOE.MY.GOD.: An anti-vaxxer who was trying to pin the deaths of her 18-month-old twins on vaccinations has been arrested for murdering them. Incredibly, anti-vaxxer groups are siding with her and pushing the story as if the arrest is a cover-up.
YOUTUBE: “Gay Midlife Is Not a Breakdown. It’s a Question You’ve Been Avoiding.”
HUFFINGTON POST: Trump’s finger is on the scale at the World Cup.

BBC: Matthew Hyndman, a Traitors veteran, is a prominent voice against conversion therapy in Northern Ireland:
The Traitors star was 23 years old and travelling the world onboard a Christian evangelical missionary ship when he came out to his fellow church members. Instead of acceptance, he said he was met with “judgement and resistance”.
“They wanted me to repent in front of the entire church community, about 400 people. After that I’d have begun what they called ‘counseling’,” he said.
A ban on conversion therapy is long overdue for Northern Ireland — and could be on the way.
