Boy Culture Links: SCOTUS Backs Conversion Therapy, Connor Storrie Butt-Dials for Verizon, Kristi Noem's Hubby Cross-Dresses, Druski Hits a Right-Wing Nerve, DOGE Psychos' Depositions Stay Up + MORE
MARCH 31, 2026
VARIETY: Nia DaCosta directs a hot new Verizon promo called Look Behind You that makes great use of Heated Rivalry star Connor Storrie.
The 4:37 short is a stylish, suspenseful thriller with horror vibes and peachy overtones, following Connor’s character, who is all alone in a spooky house and … well … the victim of a common misunderstanding.
Hilarious. And he continues to be self-deprecating in the best way.

TICKETS: Heated Rivalry: The Unauthorized Musical Parody will play off-Broadway for eight weeks. It’s fantastic — get tickets if you’re in the NYC area. It will sell out.

DAILY MAIL: Wow, so the reprehensible tabloid The Daily Mail is good for something after all — namely, exposing Kristi Noem’s hubby Bryon as a huge cross-dressing fetishist. Oh, the hypocrisy.
Wait, tell me one more time … what is a woman?
HUFFINGTON POST: The Supreme Court — all of the justices except for Ketanji Jackson — has backed conversion therapy for minors. Great, so trans kids can’t get gender-affirming care, but gay kids can be forced to try to consider “changing” an essential part of who they are.
The law being challenged in Chiles v. Salazar is one in Colorado, but the decision affects similar laws in more than 20 states.
At the case’s core is the contention that talk therapy is free speech. In her dissent, Justice Jackson said — and read from the bench:
“The Constitution does not pose a barrier to reasonable regulation of harmful medical treatments just because substandard care comes via speech instead of scalpel.”
The argument by the liberal justices is that the law would also ban affirmative therapy for LGBTQ+ kids, but Carl Charles, counsel for Lambda Legal, ain’t buying it:
“I know firsthand the long-lasting harms of conversion therapy, having been subjected to it when I was 15 years old. This practice did not change my sexual orientation or gender identity. Instead, it destroyed important relationships and created shame and fear that took time and effort to undo. For many survivors, it is a reverberating life-long harm.
“I am fortunate to have been able to transcend the trauma of that experience, to celebrate my identity as a transgender man, and to nurture a loving relationship with my husband. But so many young people do not have the familial or community support to withstand the impact of this unethical practice.
“LGBTQ+ youth do not need to be changed. Rather, like all youth, they need to be supported and celebrated for the unique and important people they are becoming.
“We commend California State Sen. Scott Weiner for his action introducing legislation earlier this month that will allow survivors of conversion therapy to seek justice for the harm that was done to them. We look for other states to file similar legislation protecting LGBTQ+ youth.”
Things just get worse and worse.

“Following some misleading reporting in the media today, we would like to make it very clear that Vince Clarke and Andy Bell are still working together as Erasure and have no plans for that to stop. Erasure are currently in the studio working on a new album, and Vince and Andy are involved in discussions about various possible touring scenarios to promote that release. At this stage it's still too early to be able to say more about the new Erasure project than that, but we are looking forward to sharing all the news as soon as we are able.”
