Boy Culture Links: Talarico Defeats Crockett in Texas, Trump's Iran Fiasco, 'Sinners' Breaks Dorian Awards Record + MORE!
MARCH 4, 2026
QUEERTY: Rob (you know which one) gets hog-tied in new video.
INSTINCT: Meet the gay priest who loved God but loved sex more.

TWITTER: After a heartbreaking Democratic primary, in which we saw two party faves — Texas state Rep. James Talarico and Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) squaring off — Talarico has emerged the more-than-probable winner. Crockett is cratering with Latinos, and is not getting the votes she needs in Dallas so far, even taking into account complaints about Republicans muddying the waters by messing with the tally. May not be called officially, but it’s over.
NBC NEWS: Sitting Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) has been forced into a run-off with Texas AG Ken Paxton, a bona fide criminal.
THE TEXAS TRIBUNE: Repulsive Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-Texas) has lost his primary! Last poll I saw had Crenshaw up by (checks notes) 28%.
QC NEWS: Rep. Carla Cunningham (D-North Carolina) has been slaughtered in her primary after spending her time recently going against her own fucking party.
HUFFINGTON POST: “Trump Unleashes World Chaos.”
NEW YORK TIMES: Now Trump has the U.S. military attacking “terrorists” in … Ecuador.
JOE.MY.GOD.: Mike Huckabee cavalierly tells U.S. embassy staffers sheltering in place in the Middle East to name any babies they make after him.
POLITICO: Canada is easing off support for Iran strikes as the domino effect continues.
HUFFINGTON POST: Briefed with classified info on Trump’s war, Democrats fear it will be “open-ended and forever.”
DEADLINE: Sinners sets a record for most Dorian Awards from LGBTQ+ film group GALECA, of which I am a member. Weirdly, our group voted for Rose Byrne as the best performance of the year — male or female. She hasn’t been winning, and Jessie Buckley deserves every award. Plus, since the group was so high on Sinners, odd Michael B. Jordan didn’t prevail.
TOM OF FINLAND FOUNDATION: Fifteen years of Tom of Finland Foundation artists in residence:
PINK NEWS: Kesha slams White House for using her song.
THEM: Gay actor Joe Locke is now an Emmy winner!
THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER: I immediately recognized actor Maria O’Brien from her headshot in her obit, but never realized she was the daughter of Edmond O’Brien and Olga San Juan!

TICKETS: The Stonewall Chorale is the nation’s first LGBTQIA+ choir, now in its 49th season. Check them out March 21 and March 22 at Holy Apostles Church in Chelsea if you’re in NYC.
BRILLIANT EDITIONS: Nonagenarian Betti Franceschi is going on a book tour for her Ageless Dancers book (Brilliant Editions, $50):
“The ‘Ageless Dancers’ [series of] photographs are about great dancers’ expressive inner line and the technique that survives diminished athleticism—the artist’s joy triumphant over time.”
