Boy Culture Links: Chef Joe Gera OUTS Scott Jennings, Tom Blyth in the Raw, Virginia Votes Yes, RIP Blondy, Gay Meat Seeks Release, Tucker Carlson Apologizes for Trump Endorsement + MORE
APRIL 22, 2026

MR. MAN: Via Mr. Man, an appreciation of a young actor you may be meeting for the first time:
“The up-and-coming English actor Tom Blyth has dazzling blue eyes and a model hot mug. But that does not a sex symbol make! In recent years, the actor, most famous for portraying Coriolanus Snow in The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, has doubled down on his sex appeal with some daring nude performances.
“He teased his booty in a pair of scenes in the 2026 romantic comedy People We Meet on Vacation. And don’t get us wrong, it’s a great booty.
“But when it comes to a man this hot, we always want more. Tom got the memo, and let it all hang out in his gritty 2026 prison drama Wasteman. He plays a troubled and ambitious prisoner who threatens his cellmate’s chance at freedom by enlisting him for his behind-bars scheming. Tom’s cellmate (Industry star David Jonsson) gets a good look at what Tom’s working with between his thighs when Tom strips fully naked.

“We can’t get over the latest young Hollywood star to dare to go frontal, and we hope that this is a sign of things to come for Tom Blyth.”
POLITICO: Virginia votes “yes” — leading to another four Dem seats to be won in the midterms.
TWITTER: Chef Joe Gera, who is straight but a queer ally — and who briefly dated Ivanka Trump back in the day — went on a Twitter tear, outing odious right-wing commentator Scott Jennings as a secret bisexual whose slutty behavior may have led to his being blackmailed by Trump. Oh, it’s on:
I know plenty of queer people think outing is SO WRONG ALWAYS, but I have never understood it. I can get on board with it being harmful to out someone strictly for gossip’s sake, but when someone is pretending to be something they’re not and speaking out on political issues, to protect that is homophobic. Because what’s so bad about being bisexual or gay that it becomes the only thing you can’t say about a person? (Because literally any other aspect of a public person’s life that they’re keeping under wraps would be considered fair game to report.)
NEW YORK TIMES: Trump-backed political witch hunt charges Southern Poverty Law Center with financial crimes, pretends the group was in league with the KKK and hate groups. (They were not. This shit will go nowhere.)
ROLLING STONE: Karl Kuehn, as Gay Meat, is releasing his long-incubating solo album Blue Water this week. He tells the music mag of record about his band name:
“So many people are like, ‘I’m not Googling that.’ And I’m like, ‘Don’t worry, I have the SEO on lock.’”
BBC: Michael, the family-approved Michael Jackson biopic has been branded “ghoulish” and a “whitewash.” It’s hard to believe it isn’t, considering these projects only exist to sell, sell, sell. No truth is intended, just a marketable version of it. But it seems destined to be a crowd-pleaser. Just don’t get on my case if I rave about Chinatown while you guys are gushing over Michael.
TMZ: I don’t doubt the Swalwell allegations, but get your fucking facts straight before you go public — it only hurts the real victims if you don’t.
PINK NEWS: The gay dad who allegedly punched a rage-baiting right-wing interviewer who approached him, his husband and his baby on the street and insinuated he and his husband are pedophiles has been charged with felony assault. I sincerely hope he get off. Provoking shit and then being mad when shit happens.
PEOPLE: In People’s World’s Most Beautiful issue, Teyana Taylor paid homage to Janet Jackson, while JADE did the same for Madonna. (Of course, Janet and Madonna aren’t on the list themselves since they’re too old to be beautiful, apparently. Just saying!)
HUFFINGTON POST: Tucker Carlson regrets his support of Trump. This from a guy who was once rumored as a potential running mate for Trump!
OHIO CAPITAL JOURNAL: Docs in a number of U.S. states can refuse treatment to people just for being gay. I’ve got news for you — if I’m in urgent care and think I could die when you refuse to treat me, we’re going to hell together.
NEW YORK TIMES: RIP Blondy, 66. She rapped on the very first woman-driven rap hit:
