David (his real name) was a bedroom-eyed brunet who worked for just about every studio, from Falcon to HIS to Vivid, Bacchus, All Worlds and more. Because he was so prolific, he’s fondly remembered, much more so than he understands, as I discovered.

Today, David is in many ways an outlier among surviving porn legends — he didn’t and doesn’t take that part of his life seriously, he lived far apart (in Washington State) from the industry, he avoided personal struggles and when he stopped, there was no drama — things just ended, and then he moved on to the next thing.

At 58, he’s now fully domesticated, but while he’s currently somebody’s husband instead of a community sex symbol, he’s still somebody’s husband with a very interesting past.
