Matthew - what a fantastic post! Please, please, please share more things like this. I so love learning how men lived then; how they bravely built their lives, owned businesses, and loved each other.

Probably the best gay photo album I've ever seen. What a treasure. Thanks for sharing it with us!

Did you note that the faded card about half-way through is from Pete Mulvey, apparently from Boston, to Ed Kenner in Cleveland—a different Pete and Ed from the other ones you noted.

Yes, and it's insane but it's like there are 3 different Ed & Peters in this grouping.

This post was such a pleasure! Knowing how difficult their everyday lives could be, it's a pleasure seeing these men enjoying life, each other's company, and themselves. "Eddy's" album proves that good lives of love prosper and grow, no matter what obstacles of hate assholes may try to erect. Thanks for posting!

This is wonderful. It takes me back to the fifties and I did not even know these people. I love the work you are doing.

Fascinating! I love poring over photo collections like this, too. Hope you’re able to uncover more of its mysteries as you go. 🩵
